Villa Jan Sofat is located in a private and secure neighborhood – Jan Sofat, Spanish Waters. At the entrance of Jan Sofat, you will have to report to security, after which you will be able to drive to the villa. The villa is situated on a quiet corner on one of the streets in Jan Sofat. If you are looking for lots of privacy, you have found the right place, as the villa together with its tropical garden, high palm trees and private swimming pool is completely enclosed by walls. Lights are placed strategically throughout the garden to ensure a wonderful atmosphere at night.
When entering the villa, you can walk straight from the living room, which has beautiful high ceilings, to the covered terrace and on to the private pool. The terrace features a modern dining room table with chairs and a cozy seating area where you can enjoy the surroundings until late in the evening. For relaxing and lounging, reading a good book, or getting that long-wanted suntan, you will find some loungebeds around the pool. The pool has a shallow end, which is ideal for small children.

The villa features 4 bedrooms, each with air conditioning. The spacious master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and a walk-in closet and you can actually walk straight to the pool area from the bedroom. The other bedrooms share a bathroom and there is enough closet space available in each bedroom. All windows have screens, which keep the mosquitoes out and allow you a comfortable night’s sleep.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at home, and with the nespresso coffeemaker you are able to make yourself the best cup of coffee in the morning!
A big 2-door refrigerator allows you to stock up on your favorite foods and drinks.
In the living room you will find a big flat-screen TV and DVD player. For our Dutch guests, channels NL1, 2 and 3 and BVN are available. There is also a music installation available and you can enjoy wireless internet throughout the property. 2 large ceiling fans make sure there is a constant breeze in the living area and also on the terrace outside.
The Villa is ideally located, with beaches like Caracasbaai, Baya Beach, Jan Thiel Beach and even the famous Sea Aquarium Beach at a few minutes’ drive. Supermarkets, gas-stations and wonderful restaurants like de Kleine Wereld, Brakkeput MeiMei and the restaurants of Jan Thiel Beach: Zanzibar, Tinto, and its newest members: Zest and Papagayo Beach Club and some new shops are also all in the area. For main shopping purposes and to visit the Unesco heritage site of Curacao, you will have go into the city center: Punda or Otrabanda at just a 15-minute drive away!
